 One Dozen Questions

1, My name is *Lenya Wilks* and I am a *Jamaican Female Recording Artist*

2. Who motivated your career choice?

·      My family and my High School music Teacher

3. How did you get your break and to whom do you owe your success?

·      Locally – Digicel Rising Stars.  Internationally – Beres Hammond.  From

the standpoint of my solo career – My manager Sam Berley and Zx5

Productions.  Digicel Rising Stars 2007 competition brought me into the

homes of the Jamaican public.  From there I worked with Beres Hammond for

three years as an opening act and got the opportunity to tour Europe, USA,

Canada and the Caribbean. In 2011decided to start my solo career, I am

signed to Zx5 Productions and my current manager Sam Berley.  Together we

have released six tracks so far and we are in the process of completing my

debut album.

4. What is your hidden talent?

·      My cooking

5. Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

·      Beres Hammond

6.  What would you do if you won the lottery?

·      Well that depends on how much the prize money is, if it’s a lot; I’d

be sensible and practical about spending, if its not a lot, then I’d curse

my luck.

7. What one quality do you look for in a partner?

·      Honesty

8.Whicn family member can always makes you laugh?

·      My Grandmother

9. What do you like with your ice cream?

·      Whip cream and chocolate syrup with a cherry on the top

10, What was the last book you read or the last movie you watched?

·      Book – The Lunatic.  Movie – Friends With Benefits.

11. What is the most memorable thing anyone   has ever done for you?

·      Throw me a birthday party and have Romain Virgo to perform for me.

12. Tell us one thing people do that you just cannot stand.

·      Judge me wrongfully without knowing me.
