Red Stripe is also a major sponsor of the London Olympics broadcast on CVM TV and the Jamaica 50 Independence celebrations, two historic events which embody the vibrancy, energy and national pride the Hi-Lights of Summer promotion represents.

“Summer in Jamaica is all about celebration, fun with friends and revelling in that passion for life, and that also describes Red Stripe Light flavours. Of course, this summer is extra special with the Summer Olympics and the Jamaica 50 celebrations and we’re excited to be able to offer to our consumers unique ways to celebrate this summer with our brands,” said Red Stripe brand manager, Erin Mitchell in an interview with the Star.

The Sumfest launch party is being held in association with fellow sponsors Digicel and Pepsi. Entertainment for the Sumfest launch party will be delivered by special guest performers I-Octane and NoMadz, chatychaty.com has confirmed. Red Stripe will also be offering $100 beer specials to its consumers.

“After the Reggae Sumfest launch party, Red Stripe will be taking to the streets with an islandwide promotion of the Hi-Lights of Summer. Look out for our party truck offering giveaways, including tickets to Reggae Sumfest,” added Mitchell.
