The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCo) has dismissed a claim by International Olympic Committee (IOC) member Dick Pound that it is difficult to test Jamaican athletes because they are hard to find.
JADCo says the claim has not foundation and data held by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) proves as much.
Jamaica’s athletes finished third overall in the sprint events at the London Olympics after winning 4 gold 4 silver and 4 bronze medals.
JADCo said every track and field athlete representing Jamaica at the recent Olympics was tested In-Competition in June 2012 adding that all elite athletes were tested more than once.
