Body of lawyer Clover Graham found with throat slashed; son murdered five years ago

The body of a woman, believed to be that of missing attorney-at-law Clover Graham, was this morning found in the Caymanas area of St Catherine. 

Passers-by reportedly stumbled upon the body this morning. Police say the body was found with its throat slashed. 

Mrs Graham’s son was reportedly murdered in similar fashion nearly five years ago and the killers were recently brought to justice.

Mrs Graham was employed to the Legal Aid Clinic in Kingston. She also lectured at the University of Technology and the Norman Law School on the Mona campus of The University of the West Indies. 

Mrs Graham was reported missing on Friday. Investigators are still at the scene of the crime.

    What a mess this country is in. This act of violence especially on a woman should never be allowed to flourish. The killers must be caught soon to pay the price for depriving society of such s talented person who had and have given so much to Jamaica especially the poor down and out. The ministers need to bring back hanging and this is no joke.
